THE SACRED BEE

The Sacred Bee is a soon-to-be-released DVD Independent film for which Slavka Kolesar created illustrations. This 3-part documentary unites the world's major religions through the paradigm of the bee. Spiritual traditions featured in the film are Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism and the Esoteric tradition that Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov from Bulgaria taught during the last century. By combining art, spirituality and science the film tells the fascinating story of the bee as a model for the human family, and presents how modern science validates the ancient scriptural wisdom of the enormous health benefits that the products of the hive offer.
