The Origin of Quinton Marine Plasma

Quinton Marine Plasma is harvested from the depths of an oceanic plankton bloom.

What is a Plankton bloom
Colorful phytoplankton blooms are complex phenomena that have attracted fishermen and perplexed scientists for decades. A phytoplankton bloom has been defined as a "high concentration of phytoplankton in an area, caused by increased reproduction; [this] often produces discoloration of the water" (Garrison, 2005).

These microorganisms are commonly known as "algae" or "plankton" derived from a Greek root meaning "wanderer" or "floating life" because plankton are tiny open-water plants.

A Plankton Bloom occurs when sunlight and nutrients are readily available to the plants. Phytoplankton play a key role in the marine food chain. They convert sunlight, carbon dioxide and nutrients into carbohydrates ( organic compounds) on which nearly all life in the ocean depends. This process is called photosynthesis. One waste product is oxygen and this makes it possible for animals to live on earth. Phytoplankton remove almost as much carbon dioxide from the air as land plants and, therefore, help regulate our climate. Recently NASA published, that 90 percent of oxygen, we breathe, is produced by Phytoplankton.

In most parts of the Earth's ocean, phytoplankton concentration is extremely low. However, in “upwelling areas,” - vortex movement - deep water is pumped up to the surface. This deep water is rich in nutrients and supplies phytoplankton with the nitrogen, phosphate and silicate they need for their growth, which supports the whole food chain.

The plankton respond to the more advantageous conditions by initiating photosynthesis and reproduction, utilizing the high concentrations of nutrients that are available in the water column. The number of individual phytoplankton cells increases at an almost explosive rate, so that the cells are packed close together in the water. The cells grow to their largest size, and the parts of the cell containing chlorophyll ("chloroplasts") increase in size, to utilize as much sunlight as possible.

Scientists call this “soup of life”. Vortex plankton blooms produce more vegetation that all the vegetation on land. In turn, these plankton blooms are consumed by trillions of zooplankton that secrete a viscous living fluid of marine nutrients.

This fluid is packed with crystalloid minerals, enzymes, RNA, DNA, vitamins, synergists and marine co-factors. In 1897, Rene Quinton discovered that this fluid extracted from the bloom had the ability to renew, purify and revitalize the internal fluidic environment of the body. He called this fluid "marine plasma". Through intense research he proved that this fluid extracted from the bloom was structurally and functionally similar to human plasma- unlike seawater alone.

The high density of nutrients found in marine plasma are vital for cell detoxification and maintaining the human cell membrane in structure and function. The micronutrients and electrolytes in phytoplankton are exactly what our cell membranes need to carry out their metabolism.

Quinton Plasma and Blood Plasma

After many years of study and biological laboratory research, René Quinton determined a number of astounding findings regarding the natural laws governing animal and human life.

Since the ancient oceans were favorable to life, animal forms have preserved within themselves the original medium, as they migrated from water to land along the long evolutionary path, from an unicellular structure to the complexity of man.

It is for this reason, that isotonic ocean water, for therapeutic applications, has been found so incredibly compatible with animal/human blood plasma, even in exaggerated quantities, without the addition of other adjunctive products or procedures.

To demonstrate his hypotheses, Quinton elaborated a marine plasma, which bears his name and closely resembles the primary composition of ocean water. With it he carried out many experiments on dogs. He verified that white blood cells and tissue fragments could live and prosper in the Quinton Plasma.

His experiments proved conclusively that the blood serum and the interstitial fluid which bathe every cell of the body are almost identical to isotonic (0.9%) ocean water.

Quinton’s book, “Ocean Water, Organic Matrix” published in 1904, reported on his discoveries. The book was highly acclaimed by the Paris Academy of Medicine and Quinton was looked upon as the new Darwin."

What Quinton Marine Plasma contains

Quinton sea water products contain the full spectrum of minerals and trace elements as they occur under natural oceanic conditions.

The following list includes the most significant of these :Sodium, Iron, Selenium, sulphur, Calcium, Molybdenum, Cobalt, Boron, silver, Fluorine, Potassium, Chronium, zinc, Silicon, Chlorine, Vanadium, Nickel, Lithium, Iodine, Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Phosporus, Bromine, Gold, etc.

A number of elements are to be found only in traces, yet they are known to be essential to the assimilation of vitamins by the body, thereby making them indispensable to the health of the human organism.

Body cell are capable of completely assimilating all the elements present in Original Quinton Plasma in view of the fact that it is so intrinsically similar to blood plasma.

What are minerals and trace elements?

Minerals are the key to life. Adequate levels of both macro (major minerals) and trace (minor minerals) minerals are essential for every organ and biological function of the human body. An imbalance in these minerals disrupts levels of all other micro nutrients, including vitamins.
Most minerals in the human diet come directly from plants, such as fruits and vegetables, or indirectly from animal sources. Animals get their minerals from the plants or other animals they eat. Plants however do not produce minerals rather they extract and assimilate minerals from the soil they grow in which can vary in deficiencies depending on where they are grown.
Minerals, although essential for our well being, are taken for granted. It is only in recent years that the public in general have become aware of these essential building blocks. There would be no life without minerals. There are over 100 minerals and elements found on earth. Oxygen, Hydrogen, Carbon and Nitrogen make up 96%. The remaining 4% is made up of over 70 other minerals.
Minerals are the key to unlocking the nutritional content in our food. The metabolizing and utilization of fats, proteins and vitamins would not be possible without the participation of minerals, and the astounding 20,000+ enzymatic reactions in which minerals play a pivotal role. For instance, you cannot address a mineral deficiency by taking vitamins; on the other hand a vitamin deficiency can be addressed by taking minerals.
The importance of minerals is not overlooked by government and business dominated food and health industries. The cost of a mineral deficient diet far outweighs the cost of supplementation. With this in mind, developed nations have, for some time, been adding micronutrients to certain processed foods. Unfortunately, addressing the shortcomings of modern foods by simply adding one or two macro elements (major minerals like Calcium and Sodium) and synthesized vitamins, has not solved the problem of mineral or even vitamin deficiency.

What are Sea Minerals?
Sea Minerals are the finest source for nutritional minerals and trace elements in nature, as mineral in the ocean and human blood plasma is almost chemically identical. Ocean water is a rich and balanced source of all minerals and trace elements in concentrations that are not only beneficial to man, but every life form on earth. Sea Minerals are invaluable for both children and adults.
Mineral and other micro nutrient deficiencies are now recognized as having detrimental effects on the brain, impeding not only the growth and wellbeing of hundreds of millions of children and adults, but also disrupting academic and production potential. Mineral deficiencies in children can lead to underachievement in school. It will also have a negative effect on both children and adult natural immuno-defenses.
Every biological function of the human body relies on adequate levels of minerals and trace elements. Without adequate levels of ALL minerals, the body's ability to function properly is impeded and ultimately disrupted.

How it is processed

Once in the laboratory, the water is put through a series of additional controls, which involve checkings of its physical, chemical and microbiological parameters (density, pH... sodium, magnesium, potassium, e.coli, streptoccus, etc.). If the parameters are conformed to the pharmaceutical requirements then water is cold microfiltered and diluted with a pure spring water to renderr it "isotonic". After a last series of controls, it is filled into glass ampoules, glass bottles or aerosol containers, However, if the water fails to meet the strict quality control standards, the entire batch is discarded. The laboratory processing is carried out in a complete sterile environnement and in accordance with european pharmacopoeia.

Production lots are sampled and analyzed. They are quarantined until they approved to be released to the market. Each lot has its own certificate of analysis.

The processing of sea water without dilution with spring water produces the Original Quinton Hyperthonic formula at a mineral concentration of 33,000 mg per liter or Original Quinton Isotonic at 9,000 mg per liter.
